Shower Weekend

T's younger brother Ash is finally getting married and this past weekend we went to Ashland for the wedding shower! Lucky Ash is marrying the lovely Amanda, and I think we love her almost as much as he does.

V's favorite part of the shower was playing with her cousin Ava, who is mellow and sweet and wonderfully cute at age 7 months.

When she couldn't take the shower any longer, she escaped outside to play with the neighborhood kids, who somehow all managed to get on Grandma and Paw Paw's hammock at one time!

Despite cool weather on Sunday, we managed to squeeze in an Easter egg hunt before heading out of Ashland. V loves every second of being the only kid hunting for 50 eggs with assistance from 4 different well-meaning adults. I am just hoping all that "guidance" isn't spoiling her for good.

We had a lovely visit with Grandma and Paw Paw on their new backyard patio!

And V was thrilled to learn that sometimes Easter egg hunts are followed by presents!
